The decisions graphic designers make every day are rarely matters of life or death. However, direct, unambiguous communication can save time measured in minutes or seconds that can save a life. In that vein, Steward Healthcare turned to Small Hat Studio for a no-nonsense campaign promoting ER services at one of their medical centers located in East Texas.

The marketing department at the Texarkana-based medical center decided to choose another visual direction. However, looking back on these print, outdoor, and digital executions still gets our blood pumping.
