Working on commissions for friends is an honor Small Hat Studio takes very seriously. A friend from college wanted to celebrate his grandfather, Larry Kinard, who was elected to the office of president of the Korean War Veterans Association. The firm was tasked with creating a digital illustration to commemorate the Korean War and President Kinard’s election, using a mix of family photos, press images, and stock photography.
