So, it's been a while since my last blog post. What have I been up to? Plenty. Most people who know me well will tell you I'm always busy. Busy working, busy working out, and busy working some more. What can I say, I'm driven.

One thing I'm passionate about at the moment is Olympic weightlifting. I really enjoy the technical aspects, the mental focus, the explosive movements and the raw power. It's one of the most challenging sports I have ever competed in. I've met a lot of people in the weightlifting community and that has translated to a few fun jobs.

Recently, I was asked by Steve Galvan of 210 CrossFit in San Antonio, Texas, to create a logo for his weightlifting club. Steve really wanted that old-school-no-nonsense-we-lift-really-really-heavy-things look. Drawing inspiration from the 1970s, we designed an elegant logo using straight-forward typography and familiar weightlifting iconography. Below you'll see the final logo (large) and some of the additional concepts we explored in the gallery.
